Mystic Pizza Detroit Theatre reviews
Good, but not as advertised
The two much smaller HD screens flanked the "50x70 HD Screen," making it painfully obvious that it was not even 720p. It was SD. No, it was SD.
The audience boo'ed as the audio was out of sync with the video for a good portion of the event. There was no "surround" sound; all of the audio came from the front of the room.
I took three friends to the event, and if I were the type to ask for a refund, those reasons would do it. However, I'll trust these guys to figure it out eventually and give it another try perhaps in May. For just the cost of entry, we could have purchased the event in HD, put it on my HD screen at home with better sound, stocked the fridge with beer, and put steaks on the grill. (props to the event for only charging $5 for beer BTW, that was a nice touch)
